Arla Ko® Dackeost has a rich and fruity taste with notes of umami. This hard cheese has a clear character and great aroma without being strong, perfect as a spread or just cut into pieces and eat as is. The cheese has a natural fat content that varies depending on the season. Dackeost has its roots in Småland, named after Nils Dacke, who lived in the 16th century. Our Dackeost is made at Kalmar dairy using fresh milk from Öland and Småland. The Arla Ko brand guarantees that the cheese is made from 100 percent Swedish milk.
